HOW TO MAKE NIGERIAN FRIED CHICKEN STEW IN A SIMPLE WAY.

Nigerian fried chicken stew is my go to when it comes to stews, it is very tasteful and filled with Chicken and spice. my recipe is quick to make. You can pair it with anything, from rice to yam spaghetti etc. So lets look at the Ingredients and procedure.

Ingredients:

1. Chicken

2. Tomatoes

3. Red Bell pepper

4. Onion

5. Scotch bonnet peppers

6. Vegetable oil

7. Thyme and curry powder

8. Chicken seasoning Cube

9. Salt to taste.

10. Chicken stock

Procedure/How to make Nigerian Stew.

Step 1: wash your chicken in a pot, season with salt, seasoning cube, curry and thyme, add water. Then stir and cook over medium heat until desired softness.

Step 2: Once cooked, remove the chicken and store the stock aside.

Step 3: In a Pan, add vegetable and fry the Chicken and set Aside.

For the Stew. 

Step 4: Wash Tomatoes, Red Bell pepper, Onion, Scotch bonnet peppers

Step 5: Blend Tomatoes, Red Bell pepper, Onion, Scotch bonnet peppers together

Step 6: In a pot, Add the Vegetable oil used to fry the chicken earlier, and let it get hot.

Step 7: Once the oil is hot, add the blended tomatoes mixture

Step 8: Add the seasoning Thyme and curry powder,  Chicken seasoning Cube and Salt to taste

Step 9: Add Chicken stock and fried chicken and let to cook for another 10 minutes.

Once this is done, then your stew is ready.
